MATHAME UNVEILS INSPIRING REMIX OF MONOLINK’S “SINNER”

Earlier this year, back in March when we were all just settling into our new COVID lifestyles, German producer, singer-songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Monolink was busy writing music, when he released the highly acclaimed single “Sinner”, which is set to be on his highly anticipated sophomore album due to release later this year. Looking to further expand on the success of “Sinner”, Monolink enlisted the Italian audio project born from the brothers Amedeo and Matteo Giovanelli, Mathame to add their own unique sonic interpretations of the track.
Mathame’s remix is newly restored breath of fresh of air into the already fresh and original tune, adding new dynamic soundscapes expanding on the cinematic nature of the song and sprinkling on a dream-like touch to Steffen Linck’s (Monolink) inspiring vocals which all come together in a euphoria driven cinematic sonic world.

Mathame began their endeavor into the world of music back in 2013, and over a few short years quickly became an act not to miss in the electronic music scene. In 2015 they released their first EP Evangea on Vaal’s Bastaard label. Followed up with a subsequent EP on Tiefschwarz’s Souvenir imprint titled Betsaida, as well as multiple releases on Tale Of Us’ Afterlife Records. It was 2019 that proved to be Mathame’s biggest breakthrough year when the duo embarked on an international tour that stretched across multiple continents, including the acclaimed performance for French platform Cercle which was filmed at the summit of Mexico City’s Reforma 180 Heliport.
The past 12 months Mathame has bridged the gap lifting them from the underground to the mainstream, continuing to showcase their steadfast, unique, and diverse talents as producers remixing for Grammy-nominated live electronic act RÜFÜS DU SOL and Italian production trio MEDUZA.
